productboard and HubHub are excited to host Hacking Developer Experience event together. The goal of this event is to share tips and tricks on optimizing developer tooling and infrastructure ????.
As software engineers, we deeply care about automation and efficiency. We don’t like mundane tasks and repetitiveness. We like to have the freedom to move fast. That’s why we like to invest hours into polishing editors configs and dot files, writing automation scripts and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines. Because we know that it is worth it in the long run ?.
We will start the event by sharing the tricks that we have learned over the years. Those sweet VIM plugins, bash scripts and CLI commands that are saving us precious time every day. Anything you are in love with yourself? You will get a chance to present it as well. No slides needed, just a few minutes long screen share walkthrough will be sufficient.
After that, it will be all about taking action. Any improvements you always wanted but didn’t have time to implement? Let’s spend a solid hour or two and get it done. Your future self will thank you! ?
